About this Project
This Courtyard was never meant to replace scripture. The Bhagavad Gita's original verses remain timeless, exactly as they've always been.
What's added here — the translations, the modern reflections, and moments like "If Kanha Ji sat beside you today…" — exist only to help today's reader meet that wisdom in the middle of an ordinary day. The aim is understanding, not replacement.
A Small Note
The Bhagavad Gita has guided countless hearts for centuries.
This Courtyard simply offers one more quiet place to sit with its wisdom. If even one reflection encourages someone to return to the original scripture, then the Courtyard has already fulfilled its purpose.
Copyright & Attribution
The Sanskrit verses of the Bhagavad Gita, and their public-domain translations where used, remain part of the scripture's own cultural and spiritual heritage — they belong to no one and everyone.
Everything built around those verses in this Courtyard — the modern reflections, contemporary explanations, historical and contextual commentary, "If Kanha Ji sat beside you today…" passages, reflection questions, journal prompts, the Courtyard's concept and experience, and its original writing, UI, and visual presentation — is original work, © ThatBrownCraft.
